Overview
Here you will learn how to embed the Group Link SDK inside your own iOS SDK.
Terms
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Group Link SDK | The Group Link One iOS SDK, static version (GroupLinkStatic module) |
| Your SDK | The iOS SDK you already have, which will embed the Group Link SDK |
| Host App | Any app that uses your SDK |
Requirements
- Xcode 26.6 or later (Swift 6.3)
- Group Link SDK minimum iOS version: iOS 15.0
- Your SDK distributed as a binary XCFramework (dynamic or static framework)
Note: The integration is done only through Swift Package Manager.
How it works
The Group Link SDK lives inside your SDK binary
- The Group Link SDK is a static library, so its code is linked inside your SDK binary.
- Your SDK imports the Group Link SDK with
internal import, which keeps it out of your SDK public interface. - The Host App adds and calls only your SDK.
Note: It works with your SDK being dynamic or static; there is no need to change its type. The only impact is size: the Group Link SDK adds ~0.9 MB (arm64) to your SDK binary.
